Southbound I-680 ramp to I-580 reopened after fatal crash

Truck crashed into a center divider on connector

A fatal truck crash closed the southbound I-680 connector to eastbound I-580 as well as the Hopyard Road off ramp Saturday morning.

California Highway Patrol officers said the crash was first reported on the highway connector around 7:30 a.m.

One person died after the truck crashed into a center divider on the connector.
