The Pleasanton Downtown Association’s popular Concert in the Park series will lead off the 13 Friday night performances June 3 with the classic rock band OTR in Lions Wayside Park on First Street.

Concerts will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. every Friday night through August 26, featuring an eclectic mix of music from rock, blues and big band to 50’s and 60’s oldies, soul, and Latin rock.

While guests are allowed to put out blankets and chairs (at their own risk) in Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks, they are asked to wait until the morning of the concert to do so. The use of rocks to hold down blankets is prohibited, as large rocks can damage lawn-mowing equipment. Also, the use of plastic tarps, which can burn the grass, is not allowed.

The PDA would like to thank the Alameda County Fair, Handles Gastropub and Pleasanton Garbage Service for being the presenting sponsors for the 2016 Concert in the Park season. Additionally, each concert is sponsored by a different local business.
