Tassajara Road closed at Moller Creek until December

Traffic must use detours between Dublin, San Ramon/Danville due to culvert replacement

A portion of Tassajara Road in Dublin and Camino Tassajara Road in Contra Costa County is now closed due to a culvert replacement project and associated road improvements.

The project is expected to take until December 2016 for completion.

The closure is necessitated by the replacement of a failing drainage culvert that is located just north of the intersection of Tassajara Road and Fallon Road, near the northern Dublin city limits.

Drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians will be unable to use Tassajara Road/Camino Tassajara to travel between Dublin and the San Ramon/Danville area for the duration of the work, and will need to use alternate routes.

Alternative routes include both Windemere Parkway and Bollinger Canyon Road.

While through traffic along the roadway will not be permitted, local residents will be able to access their properties from the north.

Emergency responders and other service providers have been notified and will be prepared to provide services during the road closure.
