2 women struck, seriously injured Monday in Dublin

Pedestrians hit while walkng at Dublin Boulevard, Arnold Road

Two women were struck and seriously injured by a car in Dublin on Monday night.

The pedestrians, women ages 46 and 49, were struck at about 10:45 p.m. in the area of Dublin Boulevard and Arnold Road, according to police.

They were taken to Eden Medical Center with serious injuries.

The 20-year-old driving the vehicle that struck the women stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the collision, police said.

No other details about the collision were immediately available from police.
