A Tri-Valley Health Fair will be held in Pleasanton Saturday under the auspices of the Alameda County Social Services Agency.
The fair, to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Firehouse Arts Center. will offer dental and vision screenings, physical examinations and health and human services related resources free of charge to the public.

The program will specifically cater to individuals and families who might not otherwise have the information they need or access to healthcare.
The Tri-Valley Health Initiative is sponsored by the Alameda County Social Services Agency, the county's Center for Healthy Schools and Communities and the offices of county Supervisors Nate Miley and Scott Haggerty.
Other sponsors include the cities of Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton as well as the school districts serving thosse cities, Axis Community Halth, John Muir Health, Kaiser Permanente, Palo Alto Medical Foundation and Stanford Health Care/ValleyCare.
