'Positive Discipline' to be discussed at tonight's Tri-Valley Y program

Program one in series to help parents learn effective tools for parenting

The Tri-Valley YMCA will continue its parenting education series Tuesday evening with the topic "Positive Discipline and Effective Consequences."

The following month, on May 12, the topic will be "The Importance of Play: Understanding your Child's Natural Language."

The discussions are held at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month. Their purpose is for parents to gain support and learn effective tools for the ups and downs of parenting.
