Murderous melodrama on Sunol Glen School stage next weekend

Sunol Repertory Theatre's fundraiser to be held through March 26

Ron Smith portrays a debonair actor, John Ruzinka plays a police sergeant and Lea Blevins is a frustrated director in Sunol Repertory Theatre's "Ax of Murder," a murder mystery that includes intrigue, suspicion and audience interaction.

Showtime is at 8 p.m. next Friday and Saturday and then again and March 18, 19, 25 and 26, at the Sunol Glen School Theatre, corner of Main and Bond streets, with profits going to the school.

This is the 35th year for the fundraiser, which has raised more than $150,000 for Sunol Glen's liberal arts programs. Tickets are $15, available online through Brown Paper Tickets or by calling 449-2693.
