Major league baseball players who once represented Amador Valley High will return to their alma mater for a friendly match during Saturday’s alumni game.
Chris Keck of the Colorado Rockies and Stephen Piscotty of the St. Louis Cardinals will join other alumni in a game against Amador Valley’s varsity baseball team at noon Saturday at the school.
Gates open at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $5, and children 5 years and younger are free. A barbeque lunch of $5 will be offered, which includes a hotdog or hamburger, chips and a drink.
Piscotty will be honored during the game when officials retire his Amador Valley jersey.
The school is located at 1155 Santa Rita Road.
