Missing San Ramon 8-year-old found safe in Pleasanton

Non-verbal autistic boy located after 2 hour search

An 8-year-old non-verbal autistic boy was found safe in Pleasanton yesterday, two hours after being lost near Rancho San Ramon Community Park in San Ramon.

San Ramon police Chief Eric Schnieder said had been missing the boy had been missing since 4:08 p.m. when he was last seen riding a scooter near the park on Rancho Park Loop in San Ramon.

The boy was located in safe condition in Pleasanton just after 6 p.m.

Anyone have more details? How does an 8 yr old child travel from San ramon to Pleasanton on a scooter? + Time missing shows approx 2 hours?
