Santa Rita Road reopened this afternoon after being closed in both directions for nearly an hour just outside Amador Valley High after two cars crashed there.
Pleasanton police closed the road and diverted traffic to the frontage roads after two cars crashed around 3:45 p.m. today. The road was reopened by 4:50 p.m.
A Nissan SUV and a Honda SUV were involved in the crash, which was caused when one driver turned onto Santa Rita Road and an SUV ran into that vehicle. Neither of the drivers were taken to the hospital, according to people on scene who witnessed the crash.
This news is terribly wrong! The most important part that a white pick-up crashed into the front of the Nissan SUV is just skipped?!
I wouldn’t go near AV in the 3:30+ time frame. Actually, I try to make myself stay off all our streets from 2:30 – 6:00.
Driver – I’m sure most of us are happy that you stay off the streets.
