Pleasanton-Tulancingo Sister City Association hosting barbecue today

Fundraiser helps fund student youth exchange, visits from Tulancingo delegates

The Pleasanton-Tulancingo Sister City Association will host its annual barbecue fundraiser today at the Pleasanton Senior Center.

Proceeds helps fund the organization's student youth exchange, the visit from Tulancingo delegates, Cinco de Mayo celebration and the Posada in December.

The event will include Tony Macchiano's "famous Lickity Spit barbecue dinner, live and silent auctions, dancing to Phil the DJ and more.

Advanced purchase recommended. Tickets are $40 per person, $45 at the door-limited availability and $320 for a reserved table for eight with sponsor sign. For more information, visit www.ptsca.org, call Jorge Victoria at 989-6882 or contact 846-4134 (after 7 p.m.).
