Sunday 'Funday' in downtown Pleasanton from 1-4 p.m. today

Event combines family-friendly entertainment with special retrailers, restaurant promotions

Sunday Fundays are making a debut Sunday in downtown Pleasanton

From 1-4 p.m. on Sunday afternoons in August, Sunday Fundays will combine family friendly entertainment with special promotions from downtown businesses and restaurants.

Here's list of participating businesses and promotions below during Sunday Funday from 1-4 p.m. in August, starting today:

Special Entertainment from 2pm-3:30pm at the Museum on Main's front lawn, 603 Main St. Happily Ever Laughter Rainbow Princess presents a Magic Show and Balloon Animals!

Clover Creek, 670 Main Street - Children can enjoy crafts and adults can enter a free drawing for a basket of gifts. Bring your dog in for a treat. Shop our summer clearance sale!

Coffee Tea Superstore, 610 Main Street - Children can stop by for a party bag! Parents and children can enjoy free samples of coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Color Me Mine, 310-B Main Street - Sunday special all day long! If 4 or more guests come in to paint their own ceramic pieces, the studio fees are cut in half. (Without discount,$4 for children and $10 for adults.)

Gourmet Works, 420 Main Street - Make your own candy treat.

Passionate Athlete, 440 Main Street - Storewide sale and treats!

Prim Boutique, 520 Main Street - 15% off your entire purchase and children's crafts in the secret garden.

Redcoats, 336 Main Street - Corn Hole in the courtyard! Children can enjoy a free drink or ice cream, plus Wikki Sticks with any Kid's Meal. Happy Hour prices ALL DAY on appetizers and adult beverages.

Rick's Picks, 719 Main Street - Children can stop in for craft time. Enjoy card making, make a mask and other fun paper projects.

Savvy Seconds, 560 Main Street – Free candy for children.

Studio Seven Arts, 400 Main Street – Mention Sunday Funday and receive 10% off all Dr. Seuss limited prints.

Strizzi's, 649 Main Street – A $5 complimentary brunch certificate has been reserved at Strizzi's Saturdays participants. Bring your certificate in to join us for Brunch Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm to enjoy $5 off when ordering 2 or more adult entrees. www.strizzis.com.

Towne Center Books, 555 Main Street – Try out our new games. Display copies are available for your enjoyment.
