It's Daylight Saving Time - Did you set your clocks ahead one hour?

Good time to change batteries in smoke alarms, say fire personnel say

Daylight saving time started at 2 a.m. today, a time to spring ahead one hour and reset clocks.

The time reverts to Standard time on Sunday, Nov. 1.

Fire departments are encouraging residents that while changing clocks on microwaves, ovens and other clocks around the home, people should change the batteries in smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors.
