School board takes no action at special meeting

The Pleasanton school board did not take any action during last night's special closed board meeting.

The meeting agenda included the discussion and possible action on "the appointment, employment, evaluation of performance, discipline/release, or dismissal of a public employee."

The name and position of the employee was not released.

The next regular school board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, in the district's boardroom, 4665 Bernal Avenue.
