PDA sets Oct. 25 for 4th annual Beer Crawl event

Ready for Halloween? The Pleasanton Downtown Association is and has set Sept. 8 as the deadline for businesses to apply to sponsor the event.

Julie Vlahon, the PDA's Events & Communications Manager, said the organization's 4th Annual Halloween Brew Crawl will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 in downtown Pleasanton. An estimated 1,000 beer enthusiasts dressed in costumes are expected to join in the fun

Downtown merchants will offer samples of a variety of local beers and small bites to the holiday crowd, although children will have to wait for until Oct. 31 for Halloween.

Tickets will be available starting late next month.

Downtown business interested in being a host location need to submit an online application by Sept. 8, Vlahon said. She can be contacted at with questions.
