I am very happy for Ms.Bolar, but sad for Lydiksen. Lydiksen was in desperate need of changes & new ideas when she arrived...and she brought that & more. She brought new life to that school & has made many positive changes. Hope they can replace her with someone just as wonderful & fresh as Ms. Bolar.
Good luck to you Ms.Bolar...

Ms. Bolar has created an amazing environment at Lydiksen. So full of happiness, caring, and support for all. Our family wishes her the best in her new position but will really miss her energy, leadership, and smiles next year!

Why, oh, why is this district such a fan of musical chairs? If she was a welcome and positive change to the Lydiksen community it would seem to me that the district would want her to stay put. With so many other schools in transition, we might want to consider keeping the rest stable. I am not sure the reputation of our district will attract the high level of solid leadership we need! It appears we are digging our own grave. If the best candidate for W.G. was someone named in the Brentwood fiasco, where do they think we are going to pull these new principals from?
