Dublin offers city facilities to cool off in today's 95-degree heat

Today another 'Spare the Air' day

In anticipation of the warm weather forecast through Thursday, the city of Dublin is welcoming anyone seeking relief from the high temperatures to relax at any of its air conditioned community facilities.

These facilities are available throughout the day, although hours vary at each location.

Dublin's offer comes as the National Weather Service warns of extremely high temperatures for the Tri-Valley with temperatures expected to reach 95 degrees by mid-afternoon today and to stay in the mid-90s at least through Thursday.

At the same time, a second consecutive Spare the Air day has been issued in the Bay Area for today.

The Dublin Senior Center, located at 7600 Amador Valley Boulevard, features a lounge area with a television, reference computers, books, lending library, and puzzle table.
