Support TV30 during 'One Day of Giving' today

Online benefit offers easy way to contribute to community TV

Those who appreciate local television programming on Channels 28, 29 and 30 have an opportunity today to contribute to the nonprofit Tri-Valley Community Television organization that provides it.

Contributions made online to the East Bay Community Foundation's one-day giving spree, "East Bay Gives," can designate their donations to "Tri-Valley TV," Melissa Tench-Stevens, the system's executive director said.

The fund-raising effort takes place for only 24-hours that started at midnight today and lasts through midnight tonight.

Contributors can sign on to and choose to donate to Tri-Valley TV. Part of a day of local giving to non-profits in the "East Bay Gives" program is an opportunity to support TV30 and the programs that the station offers, Tench-Stevens said. All donations are tax deductible.

Tri-Valley Community Television is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides programming over channels TV28, TV29 and TV30 on Comcast Cable and AT&T U-verse via channel 99.
