A Livermore man was arrested this week on child pornography charges, police said.
Jason Erik Sherman, 44, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of child pornography after a warrant was issued by the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, Livermore police spokesman Steve Goard said.
Prior to the arrest Livermore police conducted an investigation that included a search on Tuesday of Sherman's home and computers.
The warrant was issued after the search located more than 70 images of alleged child pornography, Goard said.

Children have a right to thrive. Nobody has right to emotional or sexually abuse them. Put him in a cell and throw away the key.

Sherman was arrested for suspicion of possession of pornography after a warrant was issued following an investigation that revealed 70 pornographic photos on his home computer, which is well and good.
However, I feel this piece would be even more informative if it were to include mention of what led to the investigation of Sherman's home computer.

I'm only interested in reading about the perp and not more details. If found guilty, he may go to prison. I hope he goes to prison if found guilty.

Our prisons should be out in the desert and the inmates just break rocks all day. They should not have taxpayer paid for TV's, libraries or equipment rooms.
