Merry Christmas from all of us at the Pleasanton Weekly

Hear us sing as part of the 'Hallelujah' chorus at Stoneridge Shopping Center

A crowd took over parts of the Nordstrom department store and Stoneridge Shopping Center the other day, singing and shopping through the mall.

We were with more than 100 final day shoppers who participated in a yuletide spirited flashmob that sang a rousing rendition of "Hallelujah."

"It was almost angelic, the sound under the dome," said Debbie Schafgans of Danville. "It was very exciting and spiritual."

Schafgans participated with her husband and 20-year-old son (who told her about flashmobs in the first place).

It was a fun way of bringing the Christmas shopping season to a close.

Pretty cool stuff. It isn't a flashmob though.
