Cities announce holiday closings for city governments

Dublin closed Dec. 24-Jan. 2; Pleasanton out 2 days for Christmas, 1 day for New Year's holidays

The city of Dublin offices and facilities will be closed over the holiday break from Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, through New Year's Day weekend. Offices will re-open on Tuesday, Jan. 4.

In Pleasanton, city offices will be closed next Thursday and Friday for the Christmas holiday and again Dec. 31 for the New Year's holiday.

Police and fire services in both cities will continue to operate as usual.

Linda Maurer, Dublin's Economic Development d and Public Information officer, said those calling the city during the holiday period will receive a recorded message about the closure and directions on who to call in case of an emergency.

The city will still be able to receive inquiries through its "Report an Issue" page on the city's website, she said.
