It's back to work at Pleasanton City Hall today; Dublin still closed

It's back to work today for most office workers and also those at Pleasanton City Hall.

Municipal offices in Dublin, however, will stay closed through Tuesday, Jan. 4.

Pleasanton city employees had last Thursday and Friday off for the Christmas holiday weekend. City offices will close again Friday, the nationally-observed holiday day off for New Year's Day, which falls this year on a Saturday.

However, the post office will deliver mail as usual next Friday.

Linda Maurer, Dublin's Economic Development d and Public Information officer, said those calling the Dublin city phones during the holiday period will receive a recorded message about the closure and directions on who to call in case of an emergency.

Dublin residents will still be able to receive inquiries through its "Report an Issue" page on the city's website, she said.
