ValleyCare wraps up its Christmas Tree Lane fundraising event today

Annual fundraiser benefits cancer resource center, children, hospital emergency room expansion

The annual fundraiser will close with the traditional Silver Bells luncheon. Tickets are $85.

Proceeds will benefit three programs: the Breast Cancer Patient Navigator program; ValleyCare emergency room expansion, and FitKidsRx, a fitness and nutrition program for children from 9 to 13 years old.

This is a fantastic event. Little kids can meet Santa tonight. The beauty of the trees, wreaths, etc is amazing. This is a great opportunity to get in the spirit of the season.

How many residents of Pleasanton know where on VIneyard Ave. the Palm Event Center is? There are two Vineyard Avenues. Which one are we talking about?

Can we please get through Thanksgiving first? Great cause, bad timing.
