Don't miss the 14th annual Tri-Valley Veterans Day Parade hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars from 1-2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7, in downtown Pleasanton. Nearly 100 different military units will be marching on Main Street to honor our nation's Veterans of past and current wars. The Pleasanton Community Concert Band will be providing the pre-program music as well as the music during the program. Music honoring the U.S. Navy will include "The Glory of the Yankee Navy," "Remember Pearl Harbor," " The Song of the Seebees," Midway March," "Victory at Sea," "South Pacific" and "Military Medley" with other patriotic hymns rounding out the program.
