County registrar adds Saturday hours for early voters

Voters already able to cast ballots on weekdays through Nov. 2

Alameda County residents who want to vote before the Nov. 2 election but can't do so during the week can vote at the Registrar of Voters office on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Registrar's office is already open for early voting on Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

People may also vote at the Registrar's office on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Registrar of Voters office is located in the basement of the Rene C. Davidson Alameda County Courthouse at 1225 Fallon Street, near the corner of 12th and Oak streets in Oakland.

Voters who want to vote on Saturday, Oct. 30 will be able to enter the building through the 12th Street entrance.

Voters who have questions about early voting may call the Registrar's office at (510) 272-6973.
