Intro to diabetes lecture today at the senior center

 

Pleasanton Senior Center will host a lecture on an introduction to diabetes today from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the senior center, 5353 Sunol Blvd. Learn about what diabetes is, what the symptoms of high and low blood sugar are and the basics of eating well with diabetes. Bring your questions to this interactive session. The class is taught by a certified diabetes instructor who has diabetes. Cost is $1.75 for residents and $2.25 for non-residents.
