Local Yom Kippur services this weekend

 

Tri-Valley Cultural Jews will hold a non-religious short ceremony and a series of workshops for adults and children from 1-5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 18, at Bothwell Arts Center, 2466 8th St., Livermore. The ceremony will include readings, music and a memorial. Adult workshops on guilt, forgiveness, charity and social change. Bring canned or boxed food for food bank. Also, Jewish TriValley will host a warm and welcoming atmosphere with melodic prayer and meaningful insights at different times, Friday-Saturday, Sept. 17-18, at the Doubletree Hotel, 720 Las Flores Rd., Livermore.
