I assume by "tonight" you mean "tomorrow night."

Yes, well, "Pooch-y Night Out" in Pleasanton may WELL be Wednesday night, August 4th, but once again (see back to posting on this forum from last year, August 2009, and the year before, August 2008 (I believe) that this night in August was "PEOPLE night out", a neighborhood happening, that in MY books, is a wee bit more important than "Pooch-y Night Out". But heck, P'town seems to value its doggies a whole lot more than its people....

Just a quick note, folks. During tonight's First Wednesday street fair and pooch parade, Murphy's Paw will be hosting an ice cream social: donate $1 to Guide Dogs for the Blind and we'll provide a cup of frozen yogurt for your canine companion. Should be a fun night!

Grace, if Pleasanton really valued it's dogs more than it's people, we would have more dog parks where our dogs could run around off leash. One night downtown hardly compares to the value of atleast one more dog park around here.

At least move this thing to the Fairgrounds or something. Downtown is having enough trouble as it is. We got rid of that car parade or whatever it was. We can get rid of this too.

@Get rid of it: you certainly weren't at the 1st Wednesday Street Party "Pooch Parade" tonight or you would have a much different opinion. The streets, sidewalks, restaurants, stores, etc. were ALL PACKED and that's what our community needs right now ... more BUSINESS for the merchants and more FUN for the residents!!! So, get off your couch and enjoy the summer while it's still here :)
