LDS church holding concert tonight to benefit Tri-Valley Food Bank

Performance at Bernal-Vineyard avenue ward starts at 7 p.m.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold a free concert starting at 7 p.m. tonight as part of its benefit for the Tri-Valley area food bank.

Called "Concert for Cans," the benefit will feature April Meservy and Nikki Forova, musicians, songwriters and singers from Provo, Utah.

The performance will be held in the LDS pavilion and lawn area behind the church, which is located at 3574 Vineyard Avenue at Bernal Avenue.

Those attending are also asked to donate a can or other non-perishable food at tonight's concert, which will be given to the food bank. For more information, call 596-0035.
