Monday's weather forecast for Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

High of 83 forecast, well below record 109 set July 25, 1933

While much of the country suffers in near-record-setting high temperatures and severe storms, Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley continue to have typical sunmertime temperaturres, with a high of just 80 degrees expected by mid-day. Southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph are anticipated.

Tonight the Tri-Valley is expected to be clear, with a low temperature of 53 degrees.

For Wednesday, temperatures are expected to reach a high of only 79 degrees by mid-day with southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Starting Thursday, though, the Natinal Weather Service is calling for warmer temperatures reacahing into the high 80s through the weekend.

That's well below the record set for July 25 in 1933 when the temperature in Pleasanton reached 109 degrees.
