Does Dennis Miller even have a clue. I would ask the Pope or Buzz Lightyear before I would even take Miller’s advice. What a joke!!!
Thanks to Dennis Miller’s picks, I just lost $500. FML.
Sorry, but I respectfully disagree. I’ve been wagering on horses since the 1960’s and have personally attended horse races at over 40 tracks across America and Canada. I’ve seen the top Triple Crown races, the Breeders Cup……and the lowest ranks of cheap claiming races.
Dennis is one of the most knowledgeable and sincere handicappers I have ever met or followed. I wouldn’t think of wagering at the Pleasanton meet without first glancing at this predictions. I always put my own additions and wagering spins on his selections (trifectas, exactas, place backup wagers) and usually find I am holding tickets that are within the ballpark of the final results.
On July 4th he had the winner of The Alamedan, and it was not the favorite. Just looking at my wagers I know I was with him on the winner of the 3rd, influenced by him with my ticket collected in the 4th, with him on the winner of the 5th, with him on a partial cash of a place wager in the 6th, with him on the winner of the 7th, and as mentioned, with him on the winner of the stakes race.
Not an atypical day for Dennis in all the years I’ve followed him.
Personally I recommend each bettor making their own wagering selections and then compare to Dennis for other thought angles before placing the final wager.
His picks are only a guide, just like the free picks in any newspaper. Do your own handicapping before you blame someone for losing money. YOU made the bet, not the person who selected the horse.
