Summer-like temperatures are back, just in time for summer

Weather Service calls for 78 today, mid-80s for week ahead in Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Summer-like temperatures start returning in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley today with a high of 78 degrees forecast by mid-day and hotter temperatures ahead. Winds of 10 to 20 mph are anticipated.

Tonight, the thermometer will drop to 52 degrees by early morning.

For Monday, the National Weather Service is calling for a high of 85 degrees with temperatures expected to stay in the mid-to-high 80s for the rest of the week.
