Watercolorist Gerald Brommer to demonstrate his work at Pleasanton Senior Center tonight

Renowned artist led 5-day workshop for Pleasanton Art League

Renowned watercolorist Gerald Brommer will give a free demonstration at 7:30 p.m., this evening at the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd. The public is invited.

The artist is in Pleasanton where he has been leading a five-day workshop for the Pleasanton Art League.

"Gerald Brommer is a highly sought after artist who leads plein air watercolor and collage workshops all over the country and abroad," said Pleasanton watercolorist Charlotte Severin.

Brommer is the author of more than 35 art books, many used as texts in art schools and colleges. His work is in 4,000 private collections in 37 states, five foreign countries and at galleries in California, Florida, Bermuda and London.

The Museum On Main is hosting a one-person show for Brommer through next Saturday.
