Rain today, possibly tonight, then clearing and warmer for rest of week in Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Monday's weather forecast also calls for a high of only 59 degrees

Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley are likely to experience rain today.

A high temperature of only 59 degrees is forecast along with south winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight, the Tri-Valley is expected be partly cloudy with a chance of showers after midnight. Temperatures in the low 50s and southeast winds of 5 to 15 mph are anticipated.

For Tuesday, the Tri-Valley is expected to be partly cloudy with highs in the mid 70s and west winds of 5 to 10 mph.
