A felony child pornography charge has been formally filed against a 40-year-old former Cub Scout leader from Danville, according to San Ramon police.
Michael Vawter was arrested March 17 after an anonymous tip that he had child pornography on his work computer in San Ramon.

Police from San Ramon executed a search warrant for Vawter's work and home computers; Vawter led pack Cub Scout Pack 802 in Danville.
Vawter worked at California Coast Insurance Financial in San Ramon, and police said pornographic photos of children were located on his computer there.
"There were some there and there were some on the computer at his home," San Ramon Lt. Dan Pratt said.
Vawter was arrested at his home on Grassland Court and released on $20,000 bond after being booked in Martinez.
Police said the anonymous tip came from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's CyberTipline.
