Weather forecast calls for 73 degrees today in Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Temperature starts dropping on Saturday with rain forecast for Sunday

Plenty of sunshine is forecast for today in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley with a high of 73 degrees by mid-day. Variable winds of 10 to 20 mph are anticipated.

Tonight, the Tri-Valley is expected to be mostly clear with a low of 43 degrees and variable winds of 5 to 10 mph.

For Friday, look for continued sunny skies and a high of 75 degrees by mid-day. Variable winds of 10 to 20 mph are anticipated.

The temperature is expected to drop into the high 60s on Saturday followed by showers on Sunday with a predicted high temperature of only 65 degrees.

The San Francisco Bay Area is expected to be mostly cloudy today

with a chance of showers. Highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s and southwest

winds of 5 to 15 mph are anticipated.

Tonight the Bay Area is expected to be partly cloudy with a slight

chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the 40s to lower 50s and southwest winds of

5 to 15 mph are anticipated.

Monday the Bay Area is expected to be mostly cloudy with a slight

chance of showers. Highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s and west winds of 5 to

10 mph are anticipated. Chance of showers is 20 percent.
