Cool today, tomorrow but the 80s are on the way in Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

No rain in the forecast for at least the next 5 days, the Weather Service says

Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley will see plenty of sunshine today with a few afternoon clouds. However, the temperature is expected to rise only to 62 degrees by mid-day with brisk winds of 15 to 20 mph.

Tonight, the Tri-Valley is expected to be mainly clear with a low of 41 degrees and again brisk winds of up to 20 mph.

For Friday, the National Weather Service is predicting partly cloudy skies in the morning and then mostly sunny with a high temperature of 68 degrees. Variable winds of 10 to 15 mph are anticipated.

The thermometer starts climbing on Saturday with a high of 74 degrees expected, then 79 degrees on Sunday before heading into the low 80s on Monday and at least through the first few days of next week.
