77 degrees today for Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Rain heading our way on Tuesday with sharply cooler temperatures

Temperatures will rise to at least 77 degrees with generally sunny skies today in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley where winds also will also be mild at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight, the Tri-Valley is expected to be partly cloudy with a low of 47 degrees.

For Monday, the Weather Service is calling for continued warm temperatures although only a high of 73 degrees and partly cloudy skies.

Rain will start moving in Tuesday with showers expected along with a sudden drop in temperature to a high of only 57 degrees by mid-day. Rain will continue into Wednesday when the temperature should reach 64 degrees.
