Sunny skies, a high near 70 in forecast today for Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Weekend expected to see temperatures in the 70s again

Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley are expected to be mostly sunny today with the temperature climbing to at least 69 degrees by mid-day. Variable winds of 5 to 10 mph are anticipated.

Tonight, the Tri-Valley is expected to see some clouds with a low temperature of 44 degrees. Winds of 5 to 15 mph are anticipated.

For Friday, the Weather Service is calling for mainly sunshine with a high temperature again of 69 degrees. Variable west winds of 5 to 15 mph are anticipated.

Temperatures are expected to be in the low 70s with partly cloudy skies over the weekend with showers in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
