Grab a jacket today as temperatures may hit only 60 degrees in Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Warmer with sunshine predicted for weekend

Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley will be cool today with plenty of sunshine but a high temperature of only 60 degrees by mid-day. A few showers developed early this morning with sunshine expected to follow as the day progresses.

For tonight, the Tri-Valley is expected to be partly cloudy with a low temperature of 44 degrees. Variable winds of 5 to 10 mph are anticipated.

For Friday, the Tri-Valley is expected to be mostly sunny and warmer, with the mid-day temperature reaching 66 degrees. Again, winds will be variable at 5 to 10 mph.

The weekend looks better with the National Weather Service predicting temperatures n the low 70s and mostly sunny skies.
