Well, this headline made me laugh!! "Tri-Valley Vegetarian Music Lecture Event." Music has gone vegetarian now?!? I guess no songs extolling the virtues of MEAT. Or this event will have only music singing the praises of veggies--yet it's hard to find something to rhyme with "broccoli." In any case, I hope you have a fun event!

My young son, because he loves animals, has been a vegetarian for several years. Because of his example, I rarely eat meat, but I slip sometimes.
When I do even a few seconds research on the way animals are treated and killed on factory farms, it is overwhelmingly sad.
Besides that, meat is not 'green'. It's 'manufacture' produces a great deal of pollution.
Where is this event taking place?
