Celebrate the New Year with music from rock 'n' roll legends at the Bankhead Theater, 2400 First St., Livermore. Pleasanton's hotspot nightclub, Aura, is going renegade style with its "Eye Candy" New Year's Eve party. From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., the 21-and-over crowd can enjoy a Cirque-style performance art from Earth Circus, the largest balloon drop in the East Bay, a 'Times Square'-style confetti rain, party favors and a champagne toast. Boomers Park at 2400 Kitty Hawk Road in Livermore will be open from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for a New Year's Eve event.
