Before the rain, leaves, leaves and more leaves

Golden-hued leaves blanket Angela Street just east of downtown.

The city has a leaf pickup program that will last through mid-January. Leaves are picked up one to two days prior to the regular street sweeping date. Residents are requested to rake leaves into the curb and gutter area, keeping the storm drain clear of all leaves and debris.

It is recommended that residents rake the leaves slightly away from the curb line so that the leaf loader can reach as many leaves as possible.

To find out your neighborhood's leaf pickup days, call the City of Pleasanton's Operations Services Department at 931-5500.
