Saturday's weather forecast for Pleasanton, Tri-Valley

Mid-50s expected for today as rain heads here later tomorrow

Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley are expected to have below normal temperatures in to mid-to-upper 50s today, but with rain not expected before Sunday.

As the Pleasanton Holiday parade gets under way at 5:30 p.m., the thermometer should read about 57 with temperatures falling steadily toward a low of 36 degrees expected after midnight. Winds will be light at 5 to 10 mph.

On Sunday, the entire Bay Area is expected to get colder and wetter to start off the second week of December, a National Weather Service forecaster said. A cold front is expected to move in tomorrow night, bringing with it rain and wind ranging from 10 to 25 mph, forecaster Diana Henderson said.
