Closures planned for Fallon-580 interchange in Dublin

Will affect eastbound and westbound directions in early morning hours Tuesday-Thursday, but not simultaneously

Interstate 580 will be closed at the Fallon Road interchange in the early morning hours Tuesday through Thursday, the city of Dublin announced.

The closure will allow for bridge construction work. The construction contractor will be removing formwork from the new barrier rail along the east side of the bridge.

Westbound I-580 will be closed between midnight and 3 a.m. Eastbound I-580 will be closed between 1 and 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured off the freeway at the Fallon Road/El Charro Road exit. At the end of the off ramps, motorists will be directed across Fallon/El Charro Road and can re-enter the freeway utilizing the existing on ramps. Access to Fallon Road and El Charro Road will be maintained. At no time will both eastbound and westbound I-580 be closed simultaneously.
