Like it hot? 95 degrees today and into the 100s tomorrow, Saturday

No break before next Monday when the 80s finally return, weather bureau says

It'll be another hot day in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley today with a high temperature of 95 degrees by 3 p.m., followed by record-high temperatures ahead for both Friday and Saturday.

Forecasts shows temperatures will reach 100 tomorrow and 101 on Saturday before dropping back to a "cooler" 96 degrees on Sunday. So far, weather bureau forecasts show a break in the heat starting Monday with the temperatures in the mid- to high-80s.

Tonight the Tri-Valley is expected to be mostly clear with patchy clouds developing after midnight. Low temperatures in the lower 60s

and variable winds of 5 to 10 mph are anticipated.
