Band's melodic tunes also to be featured on final 1st Wednesday street party Sept. 2

Sounds of melodic jazz filled the air of Lions Wayside Park Friday night as nearly 1,000 fans relaxed to the music of D-Lucca.

An accomplished jazz, swing, and rock bassist, Daniel Parenti led his D-Lucca jazz band of seasoned pros through a 1-1/2-hour performance that brought loud applause throughout the evening.

The D-Lucca band will be back in the coming week as the 1st Wednesday Street Party's featured band from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 2 in downtown Pleasanton, the last of the summer series of street parties this year.
