American Red Cross looking for standout community members

The American Red Cross, Bay Area chapter, is looking for nominations for its annual heroes award program in Alameda County.

The categories include lifesaving hero, act of courage hero, act of kindness and philanthropy hero, community service hero as an individual, community service hero as an organization, and animal rescue hero.

Award recipients will be selected by county community leaders. All nominees must work or live in the county. Visit www.redcrossbayarea.org/heroes or call 415-427-8086.
