Competition for Young Musicians

 

The Livermore-Amador Symphony Association hosts the 37th annual Competition for Young Musicians. It's open to instrumentalists and vocalists who live or attend school in Livermore, Sunol, Pleasanton, Dublin or San Ramon. Students are eligible through 17 or grade 12. Performances are Feb. 13. Each winner will be awarded $250. Applications, plus a $5 fee and tape or CD, are due Oct. 4. For details, call 447-1947 or visit www.livamsymph.org.
