Corvairs play for hundreds at Friday's Concert in the Park

The Corvairs brought '50's and '60s rock and roll band to a packed park Friday at the Pleasanton Downtown Association's weekly Concert in the Park. The band was sponsored by Big O Tires.

Next Friday Hurricane will play blues, classic and contemporary rock at the concert, held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lions Wayside Park, corner of First and Neal streets.

A drawing is held every week at approximately 8:15 p.m. for prizes donated by local merchants. Drawing forms can be found in the Pleasanton Weekly, the media sponsor for the Concerts in the Park, for that night's drawing.

No graduation photos? That's where a large number of the rest of town was during this concert, watching and participating in graduations.

Thank you for the information on how to submit photos. I figured that the PW must have had their own photographers there, covering the high school graduation ceremonies.
